Chippy

A product design exercise for the Post Production class — a friendly fictional snack brand, designed and rendered end-to-end.

Brief

Post Production at KMUTT runs as a make-something-real exercise: invent a product, design its identity, and render it convincingly enough that someone could mistake it for a real shelf item.

What I made

Chippy — a fictional snack brand. The design language is intentionally playful and a little lo-fi: thick lockup, friendly mascot, a palette that pops on a 7-Eleven shelf in Bangkok. Every detail from the foil-pack pattern to the back-of-pack typography was custom.

Process

Brand sketches first, then a small typographic system, then the packaging mockups. I did a lot of the work directly in Photoshop because at the scale of a single bag, render quality mattered more than vector flexibility.
